Refund and Returns Policy

At Bookman, we value your satisfaction. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
  • The item must be in its original packaging.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of goods are not eligible for returns:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, newspapers, magazines).
  • Intimate or sanitary items.
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids and gases.

Additional non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards.
  • Downloadable software products.
  • Certain health and personal care items.

To process a return, you must provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Important: Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds are granted:

  • Books with obvious signs of use.
  • CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records that have been opened.
  • Items not in their original condition, damaged, or missing parts due to reasons not caused by our error.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, your refund will be processed, and the amount will be automatically credited to your original payment method within a specific number of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company; processing times may vary.
  3. Contact your bank; there might be processing delays.

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items cannot be refunded.


Exchanges

We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, contact us at [email protected] and send your item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, we will mail you a gift certificate.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift or was sent to the gift giver to be handed to you later, the refund will be issued to the gift giver.

Shipping Costs:

  • You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

Important: If you are returning an expensive item, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
